Silverspine Contracting Inc. is hiring a full-time cleaner

 

  • Location: Multiple locations throughout Lower Mainland, BC
  • Term: Full time, Permanent, 40 hours/week (On call, Morning, Evening, Shift, Weekend, Flexible hours)
  • Salary: $17 per hour
  • Overtime rate: $25.50 per hour
  • Vacation: 4% of vacation pay
  • Benefits: Medical Benefits
  • Language: English

  • Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Sweep, mop, wash, wax, and polish floors
  • Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
  • Make beds, change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Attend to guests requests for extra supplies
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers, and elevators
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
  • Report and store lost and found items
  • May handle complaints

 

Job Requirements for the position are:

  • High school diploma;
  • Previous experience in light duty cleaning or housekeeping services will be an asset.
