  • Minimum more than 3 years of experience as Sushi Chef or similar role
  • High school graduate;
  • Good acknowledge of various sushi types and sushi-rolling techniques
  • Hard working and detail oriented
  • Flexibility to take on various shifts and available to work on weekends/evenings
  • Great team player
  • Able to communicate in English

Job Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Create a rich sushi menu with various main ingredients and raw
  • Prepare all types of sushi, including maki, nigiri and sashimi
  • Select fresh fruits and vegetables to make high-quality dishes
  • Add additional flavors to sushi rolls with ginger, rice vinegar, wasabi and soy sauce, when appropriate
  • Manage food prep activities, like cooking rice, preparing sauces, cutting different types of fishes
  • Coordinate with servers to ensure proper cooking, considering special requests and food allergies
  • Monitor food stock and place orders, as needed
  • Constantly updating and creating new modern recipes
  • Maintain clean work environment in order to prevent food contamination
  • Sterilizing all utensils and equipment used in sushi preparation before every use

Compensation: $18/hour with 2 weeks of annual vacation and extended benefits

Work Hours: 40 hrs/week by shifts
