Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Selected candidates must be reliable and able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Duties will include:
Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food; Supervise kitchen staff and helpers; Organize and manage buffets and banquets; Manage kitchen operations; Inspect kitchens and food service areas; Clean kitchen and work areas; Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment; Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, Understanding the correct amount of sweets to make, in order to minimize waste, Preparing desserts for customers with food allergies or intolerance, Training staff in preparation of desserts, Working with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer).
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods, Overtime required
