Duties and Responsibilities as a Cook:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods,
- Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies,
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers,
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment,
- Clean kitchen and work areas, Manage kitchen operations
Job Requirements for the position are: to review and confirm
- Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Experience 1 year to less than 2 years
- Food Safety Certificate;
- Ability to work in busy restaurant environment; and,
- Experience preparing dishes for clients with dietary restrictions, intolerances or allergies is an asset.
