Full time Professional Services

Job Description

Animals First Clinic in Grand Prairie, Alberta is seeking a full-time Veterinarian (Small Animal).

About Animals First Clinic Animals First Clinic provides a wide variety of services for your pet. While treating injuries and curing illness is what we strive to do, being able to keep pets from getting sick in the first place is the easiest way to keep them healthy. Including general health examinations, vaccinations and deworming, preventative medicine promotes your pet’s health and provides early detection of health conditions or illnesses so treatment can be offered sooner rather than later. We also offer customized geriatric exams for our aging pets, who may have underlying illnesses that can’t be easily detected. Geriatric bloodwork should be done starting at the age of 7 for both cats and dogs, and can be done quickly and accurately using our in-house lab machines. Our fully equipped pet hospital features an in-house laboratory, digital and dental x-ray, laser therapy, and orthopedic surgery services.

We are offering an incredible opportunity for an entry-level full-time Veterinarian (Small Animal). We are an established and highly efficient team dedicated to practicing high-quality medicine. We value work-life balance and have a lot of fun as a team.

You will be scheduled for 40 hours over 4 or 5 days. There will be a mix of appointments and surgeries, and while we do require on-call shifts, the service is shared with another veterinary clinic. Animals First Clinic is on-call every 2nd week, and the on-call rotation is shared between the Veterinarians at Animals First Clinic.
