We at Courtenay Foodservices Inc.  a franchise of A&W is seeking for a Assistant Manager on permanent basis to augment our staff at Courtenay location. If you are experienced, self motivated team player with great leadership skills, come forward to join our team.

As an Assistant Manager your job description would be as follows:

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a restaurant, bar, cafeteria or other food or beverage service
• Recruit staff and oversee staff training
• Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
• Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
• Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
• Resolve customer complaints

Education: Completion of Secondary School

Language Requirements: Must be able to communicate in English   

Salary: $ 22.00 hourly for 40 hours

Experience: 1-2 years of supervisory work experience
