A full time, permanent kitchen porter/Apprentice Cook is required by Marche Hung Phat
Must speak Vietnamese, French and English.
Vietnamese is an asset as all staff and most clients and suppliers speak Vietnamese. The successful applicant will be required to
• Prepare and cook Vietnamese dishes
• Oversee kitchen operations
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work area
Applicants must be able to use deep fryer, grill and oven to prepare food items, but training will be provided to learn to prepare and cook our signature dishes. Ideally, but not necessarily, applicants should have completed secondary school and have some cooking experience. Experience with Vietnamese cuisine and/or commercial cooking experience is an asset, but not a requirement.
