Job duties
- Brew and package beer according to brew schedule
- Monitor quality and temperature of fermenting beers on a daily basis
- Monitor sugar decrease, take level readings on the beer tanks and monitor temperature and pressure build up in fermenters and beer tanks
- Monitor quality, flavor and carbonation of serving beers in the brewpub, packaging, and throughout brewing process
- Rack beer from fermenters to beer tanks and ensure it is recorded properly
- Monitor pressure in tanks at all times
- Record production information
- Use separator to clean beer of any solids on way to beer tank if applicable
- Follow inventory procedures for all raw materials, chemicals, beer, cooperage, small parts, packaging, supplies etc.
- Assist with inventory management generally and inventory counts specifically of finished beer, grain, hops, and other raw materials inventory
- Clean tanks, kegs, pins, packaging line and other equipment
- Keep brewing facility clean and functional at all times
- Design, establish, and maintain a daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance schedule
- Promote good public relations and handle complaints and concerns
- Assist staff with day-to-day tasks, problems and needs concerning equipment, supplies, etc.
- Troubleshoot and report all equipment problems, violations or substandard practices to the owners
Terms of employment
Permanent, full-time (40hrs/week)
Expected Employment Start Date: as soon as possible
Wage
$19/hour

Skills requirements
Education: secondary school required
Work Experience:
At least 3 months of experience in working as a brewer
Serving it Right Certificate is required
Excellent customer service is a must
Language requirements:
