Job Description

Earth Kidz Early Learning Centre is a licensed child care centre that provides High Quality child care services, under the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014 (CCEYA), the Ministry of Education of Ontario. We strive to meet the diverse cultural, social and economic demands of the modern families by offering a wide range of child care and related services.

Responsibilities:

  • Arrange, control, and assess the process of the administrative department to provideadministrative supports, including but not limited to, connecting with federal, provincial and municipal departments and services, preparing of meetings, filing documents, collecting feedback from parents and staff, etc.
  • Organize and conduct essential administrative works, such as security, finance, or other services;
  • Manage and control the budget and expenses of multiple centres’ equipment and supplies to support a high quality child care environment and operations;
  • Participate, comply and collaborate with the development of the centre’s core value, philosophies, and long term goals;
  • Provide, maintain, and support a positive relationship between the centre and its social connections in the diverse community, including social medias accounts management (Facebook, Instagram, WeChat), etc.
  • Administer the management for researching, conducting, and assessing staff evaluation, parents survey, etc.
  • Participate in employment interview and other relative recruitment activities including in charge of training supervision if necessary
  • Support the administrative management according to Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014 (CCEYA) and Child Care Centre Licensing Manual;

Minimum qualifications:

College/CEGEP or equivalent experience

 

Experience:

3 years or more related work experience.

Experience in e-Learning strategies, hybrid and online materials, and coaching course development is an asset.

Solid knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud is an asset.

Foundational experience with project management software is an asset.

 

Language:

English.

Second language is an asset.

 

Job Types:

Full-time, Permanent.

 

Salary:

$34.50 per hour, 30 hours per week.
