Best Western Thompson Hotel & Suites needs five (5) housekeeping room attendants as soon as possible to work in Thompson for a two year contract, full time, 40 hours a week, at $15.50 per hour. Various shifts, including early morning, morning, day, evening and weekend. Will train. Experience is an asset. Must have high school or equivalent. Must speak English. Must provide a criminal record check. Attendants, clean and polish doors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, rugs, draperies, upholstered furniture; make beds and change sheets; distribute towels and toiletries; stock linen closets, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances; clean and disinfect elevators; handle and report lost and found items,; attend to guests requests for extra supplies and other items; pick up debris and empty trash containers. Clean changing rooms and showers, address customer complaints and concerns. Working conditions are a fast paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail. Must be a team player, reliable, flexible, dependable, with effective interpersonal skills. Staff accommodation provided.
