Apex Motor Express Inc. has immediate opening for experienced Line Haul OTR Dispatcher (TEER: 12013) at our location in Brampton, Ontario.
As an experienced Line Haul OTR Dispatcher (TEER: 12013), you will perform some or all of the following duties:
· Recruit and grow a stable driving team to maintain the goals of the company;
· Oversee, organize, designate, and evaluate the work of clerks performing the following tasks: processing purchase transactions; arranging production work; dispatching crews; planning transportation crews and routes; and other related activities such as Shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and maintaining inventories of materials, parts, and products.
· Assure adherence to current norms, regulations, safety and security protocols, and standards, and take part in their enhancement.
· Address a range of issues, handle associated grievances, and put corrective actions and process enhancements into place.
· Develop partnerships to secure hauling opportunities;
· Make sure that all machinery, equipment, and computer systems are operating smoothly, and schedule maintenance and repairs.
· May carry out the same responsibilities as workers under supervision; may evaluate the performance of supervised employees.

Qualifications
· Completion of a post-secondary education program of two to three years in business, supply chain, production or manufacturing management and related is usually required.
· OR 1 to 7 months of experience at supervisory or managerial position.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (40 hours/week)
Compensation: CAD $ 25.00 /hour
