Allegiance Construction LTD is hiring a full-time Construction Labourer

 Title:                       Construction Labourer

Location:                 Multiple locations in construction projects throughout Lower Mainland

Working conditions: Permanent, F/T (40hrs /week),

Salary:                    $23 p/h + overtime rate at 50%

Vacation:                10 days / 4% of vacation pay

Number of positions: 3

Start date:               ASAP

 Main Duties and Responsibilities

·         Load/unload Doors and mouldings and any other related construction material;

·         Spread doors mouldings and other related construction material;

·         Remove rubble and garbage;

·         Assist finishing carpenters in carrying out their duties;

·         General housekeeping including maintaining a tidy and orderly job site;

·         Keep orderly records of mileage, job receipts, and accurate time-sheets;

·         Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.

  Job Requirements for the position are:

·         Completion of secondary school is required;

·         At least 1 year of experience as a general construction labourer is required;

·         A valid driver’s license is an asset;

·         Must be able to work alone and with others and be able to work under minimal supervision;

·         Must be able to read/use a tape measure;

·         Must be able to use all power tools;

·         Must be able to do some heavy lifting.
