Languages: English

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience: Experience an asset

Work site environment: Outdoors, At heights.

Responsibilities

·         Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment.

·         Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment.

·         Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures.

·         Connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets.

·         Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access.

·         Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers and amplifiers.

·         Splice, join and connect wires.

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Working at heights training.

Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence, Willing to travel.
