Title: Restaurant Assistant Manager
Position: Fulltime, Permanent
Wage: $16.00 per hour, 30 hours week min

Education: Completion of Secondary School an asset
Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Quick Serve Restaurant
BarBurrito is looking for 1 Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Cole Harbour. Successful candidates will be required assist the Manager to oversee the entire restaurant operations and be responsible for smooth running of the restaurant.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
Direct and oversee staff in both front and back of house to ensure brand standards, cleanliness, habitability and health and safety protocols are maintained and ensure management is made aware of any deviations from same.
Ensure all Provincially regulated and brand-mandated health and safety protocols are adhered to
Ensure all daily administration such as temperature logs are cleaning checklists are maintained as per brand standards
Ensure the restaurant maintains the highest levels of cleanliness and operability and ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Advise management of any required maintenance for equipment and advise should any repairs be required for the restaurant itself (drywall repair, painting etc)
Manage staffing levels based on daily traffic/sales. You have the authority to end staff shifts early based on traffic/sales, or extend shifts to meet traffic/sales demands
Train new Team Members in food preparation, service, sanitation and safety procedures based on current best practices and brand standards
Draft and publish weekly staff schedules
Control and oversee all inventory management to ensure adequate stock of food, packaging, drinks and restaurant supplies are kept at the required levels as dictated by sales volumes
Work with staff to address and resolve customer complaints and support staff operations to ensure all brand standards are maintained for customer service. Never hesitate to contact ownership when in doubt on how to handle a customer situation
Demonstrate patience and a positive attitude with staff and work with staff to foster a positive and inclusive work space
