Position:
The duties of the Cabinet Maker are as follows:
• Fabricating & installing kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities and other intricate designs.
• Ensuring all products that leave the shop are all up to CSA standards.
• Installing the material with the highest attention to detail.
• Coordinate onsite logistics to ensure schedules are met.
• Deliver high quality customer service to all clients.
• Organize materials in the shop to maximize efficiency amongst the team.
• Monitor inventory and liaise with suppliers to order materials.
• Measure perspective projects and assist management in estimates.
• Work with thermoforming solid surfaces.
Requirements:
The job requirements for Cabinet Maker are as follows:
· At least 3+ years of experience in a cabinet fabrication/ installation role
o At least 1 years experience working with thermoforming. industry specializing in carpentry.
· Completion of secondary school.
· Completion of basic carpentry trade course.
· Fluency in written and spoken English.
· Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Skills and Competencies:
· Proficiency in using cabinet making tools and equipment.
· Strong understanding of cabinet making techniques and methods of installation and construction.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
· Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition, ability to comfortable lift 50-100lbs
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
