We are seeking an experienced and talented Cannabis Production Supervisor to supervise the operation of our warehouse team, cannabis distribution and inventory.

 

THE ROLE:

Cannabis Production Supervisor you will report to the West Blvd Cannabis Co senior management team and carries out the following duties and responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

·         Work closely with the COO, and the Quality Control Lead to supervise the back of house operations.

·         Oversight of general operations staff on a daily basis.  Communicating with the production/contract staff to ensure operational efficiency.

·         Responsible for coordinating with the Quality Control Lead and communicating with the back of house staff on daily and weekly production schedules.

·         Coordinate with COO/Operations team to conduct scheduling of back of house contractors.

·         Communicate with contractors with respect to production scheduling.

·         Understand and Ensure proper West Blvd standard operating procedures are being followed by all members of the operations team.

·         Maintaining proper Health Canada operating procedures for back of house operations.

·         Ensure appropriate work wear, and cleanliness guidelines are being followed at all times, by all staff.

·         Responsible for opening and closing back of house on a typical day of operation including:

o   Room setup.

o   Batch Record completion.

o   End of day clean up, and close out oversite.

·         Responsible for shipping cannabis product from West Blvd to customers: Provincial wholesalers and Direct Delivery to retail stores

·         Use of Elevated Signals for back of house operations including:

o   Scale verifications

o   Level I and II cleans,

o   Shipping

·         Identify new opportunities to optimize back of house workflow and efficiency.

·         Training of new hires.

·         Equipment oversight.

·         Lead communication with back of house contractors.

·         Establish room set up for daily production including:

o   Scale verifications

o   Task delegation

·         Work with COO and Quality Control Lead to determine daily, weekly and monthly production scheduling.

·         Communication with all Back of House staff regarding scheduling, sick days, holidays, etc.

·         Responsible for shipping finished West Blvd products to customers:

o    Elevated tracking.

o   Purolator oversight

o   Work in tandem with shipping partners to coordinate on time and in full delivery of goods.

·         Ensure all staff are wearing appropriate PPE.

·         Ensure all required Health Canada batch clearance documentation is being completed during a typical production day.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications:

 

•         Completion of secondary school is required. Third level college preferred

•         At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory warehouse role.

•         Advanced working knowledge of all relevant provincial and federal regulations and safety codes.

with respect to Cannabis production and distribution.  

•         Fluent written and spoken English is essential.

•         Must in good physical condition and be able to lift 25-50 lbs frequently be able to bend, stoop and twist.
