Job Description:
An elderly couple is looking for a reliable housekeeper to keep our house clean.

Ottawa, Ontario, K1Z 1E9
Title:
Housekeeper
Duties:
· Perform housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning the windows, scouring bathrooms, changing sheets and towels, managing laundry, and keeping the place neat and tidy.
· Clean, organize and maintain the house as needed and as instructed.
· Make beds and change sheets
· Stock linen closet
· Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
· Pick up debris and empty trash containers
· Launder clothing and household linens
· Inform the homeowner or employer if any accidents or problems occur while performing cleaning services.
· Other related tasks
Required Education/Experience:
Have completed secondary education.
Work experience in a related field and/or training in the field of a domestic helper or similar
Skills/ Qualifications:
• Be reliable and punctual
• Take initiative
• Show good judgment
• Have good intuition
• Have excellent organizational skills
Employment conditions, salary and hours:
Salary of $19.00 /hour for 30 hours per week.
Schedule for housekeeper to be Monday to Friday
Monday 9pm - 3pm
Tuesday 12pm - 6pm
Wednesday 11am - 5pm
Thursday 1pm - 7pm
Friday 9am - 3pm
Language Requirement:
Knowledge of English (oral)
