We are seeking an experienced Plumber to join our team who is enthusiastic and passionate about delivering a first-class service and understands and ensures the needs of the client are met on each and every successful project.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to Kern BSG Senior Management, Project Manager, and Site leaders , as a plumber you will carry out the following duties and responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
· Plan layout and installation of plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures based on specifications and applicable code.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications:
• At least 5+ years’ experience as a construction plumber.
• Completion of Plumbing Apprenticeship / Red Seal Qualification is essential.
• Advanced working knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and equipment.
• Working Knowledge of local, provincial, and federal safety regulations and safety codes
• Full Class 5 B.C. Driver’s License.
• Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
• Must have own hand tools.
Skills and Competencies:
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal instruction and also collaborate with team members, technicians and management in an effective and collaborative manner.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Following, implementing, and supervision on site- safety and quality control measures.
• Working Knowledge of local, provincial, and federal safety regulations and safety codes.
• Ability to solve problems and make on the spot decisions.
• Track record of meeting deadlines and working in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining high quality standards.
• Must in good physical condition and be able to lift 50+ lbs frequently, be able to bend, stoop and twist.
