We are looking for a passionate individual to join our lively downtown rental store with our top-of-the-line bikes and accessories, expert advice from our knowledgeable staff, and local tour maps perfect for a “Pick your own Adventure” in the beautiful city of Vancouver, British Columbia.

We are seeking a seasoned store manager with a ‘take charge’ attitude, who is experienced and enthusiastic about bicycle-culture, bicycles, cycling and the tourism industry.

Position

The duties of the Store Manager are as follows:  

• Manage and co-ordinate all staff members to ensure a smooth roll out of our day-to-day operations

·         Ensure that our “customer is always right” approach is implemented from top to bottom.

• Manage budgets, revenue and cash flow.
• Liese with suppliers and vendors to ensure store has adequate stock and resources.
• Monitor market trends by staying up to date on in demand bicycles and ski equipment.
• Develop marketing and promotion strategies and align with local events and busy tourist season.
• Interview, hire and train new staff members. Address staffing issues as an when they arise.
• Resolve customer requests and complaints and supply shortages.
• Review sales volumes and merchandising reports and ensure profitability is maximized.

Requirements

The job requirements for Retail Store Supervisor are as follows: 

·         College Diploma   

·         Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a bicycle retail and rental environment.

·         Experience with bicycle touring and basic bicycle mechanics.

·         Advance working knowledge in the operation and safety protocols required with E-bikes.

·         Exceptional verbal and written English.
