Full time Restaurant-Food Service

Job Description

The moose neighbourhood Pub is looking for a permanent full time Cook  who could join immediately. The details are given below.

 

Work Location: 1485 - 5th Avenue​​ Valemount, BC V0E 2Z0

 

Salary: $19 per hour

Positions: 1

Hours per week: 30 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

 

Job duties and Responsibilities: 

 

    • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
    • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
    • Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
    • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
    • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
    • Order supplies and equipment
    • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
    • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
    • Organize buffets and banquets
    • Manage kitchen operation

Skill Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certi�cate 

  • 1 Year to less than 2 years of experience
