Position: Cook (NOC 6322)

Location of employment: Same as above

Wage: $26.10 per hour for 35 hours per week

Terms of employment: Contract – full time

Language of work: English

Shifts: 9am to 5pm

Benefits: None

Vacancies: 1 full-time contract position

Education: Completion of secondary school

Experience: Minimum one year experience as a cook

Ability to Supervise: 1+ persons

Transportation: Public transportation is available

Work conditions and physical capabilities: hot environment, noisy, with potentially hazardous equipment (pizza oven, fryer, etc.)

Job Duties

• Prepare and cook pizzas based on the order
• Prepare and stretch the dough
• Cut and make ready vegetables and other toppings for assembly
• Cook pizzas quickly and as per instructions;
• Prepare and cook other items on the menu, including but not limited to chicken wings, lasagna, panzerotti, and meatballs.
• Supervise kitchen helpers and work with the team to cook and send out pizzas efficiently
• Oversee kitchen operations including scheduling of employees, equipment, and inventory
• Maintain inventory levels and order items as needed
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized
• Hire and train staff
