Personal care attendant

Private Home in North York area is looking for one (1) Personal Care attendant for an elderly gentleman.

Job details: 
• Permanent – full time/ Monday to Friday 
• $16 per hour for 35 to 40 hours a week 
• Time: 8am to 1pm then 3pm to 6pm 
• Free meals and accommodation (if applicable) 

Duties: 
• Provide personal care and provide companionship, 
• Plan therapeutic diets and menus, 
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, 
• Launder clothing and household linens, 
• Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk, 
• Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder), 
• Administer medications, Administer bedside and personal care, 
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals

Job requirements: 
• Speak English 
• Secondary (High School) graduation certificate 
• At least 1 year experience or 6 months training in related field 
• Criminal record check 
• Medical exam taken 
• Non-smoker 
• Punctuality, Client focus, Reliability, Judgement, Excellent oral communication, Initiative, Flexibility, Dependability, Effective interpersonal skills, Organized

• Work location: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment.
