Travelodge Sydney has immediate opening for experienced Light Duty Cleaner (NOC : 65310) at our location in Sydney, Nova Scotia.

Work Location : 480 Kings Road, Sydney, Nova Scotia, B1S 1A8

Wage : $17.00 hourly

Full-time, 40 hours / week

Number of Positions – 2

Starts as soon as possible

Job duties and responsibilities not limited to:

·         Sweep, mop and wash floors

·         Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, curtains and other furniture

·         Spot-clean windows, walls and doors

·         Make beds, change sheets and distribute clean towels and toiletries

·         Clean changing rooms and showers

·         Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies

·         Stock linen closets and other supplies' areas

·         Clean, disinfect and polish dining area and bathroom fixtures and appliances

·         Clean and disinfect public areas

·         Disinfect operating rooms and other areas

·         Pick up debris and empty trash containers

·         Report and store lost and found items

·         May provide basic information on facilities

·         May handle complaints.

Qualifications:

·         Secondary school education is usually required.

·         On-the-job training will be provided

·         Experience as a cleaner, in housekeeping or in a relevant field is an asset.
