Requirements:
Minimum more than 3 years of experience as Sushi Chef or similar role
High school graduate;
Good acknowledge of various sushi types and sushi-rolling techniques
Hard working and detail oriented
Flexibility to take on various shifts and available to work on weekends/evenings
Great team player
Able to communicate in English
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Create a rich sushi menu with various main ingredients and raw
Prepare all types of sushi, including maki, nigiri and sashimi
Select fresh fruits and vegetables to make high-quality dishes
Add additional flavors to sushi rolls with ginger, rice vinegar, wasabi and soy sauce, when appropriate
Manage food prep activities, like cooking rice, preparing sauces, cutting different types of fishes
Coordinate with servers to ensure proper cooking, considering special requests and food allergies
Monitor food stock and place orders, as needed
