Zaldana Carpenter Ltd. is seeking 10 experienced Carpenters to join the team next year. These are full-time, permanent positions for the right individuals (40 hours per week). Wages are $36.60 per hour plus 4% in lieu for vacation.
Job Requirements:
1. Experience: at least 3 years carpentry experience to less than 5 years
2. Language: Functional English language is required (speaking, reading and writing)
3. Education: No formal education is required
Job Duties:
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Fit and install trim items such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
