Job Description
We are looking for a childcare provider to take care of our child (2y/o).

Title
Private Home Child Care Provider
Duties:
· Supervise and care for the child at our residence.
· Prepare and serve meals for the child.
· Bathe, dress and feed the child
· Follow parents’ lead with toilet training
· Instruct child in personal hygiene and social development
· Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding child.
· Create and ensure a safe environment at our residence.
· Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
· Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
· Plan and oversee the child's activities as instructed.
· Other related tasks.
Required Skills
· Have completed a secondary school diploma attesting at least 11 years of full-time elementary and secondary education or
· have successfully completed, in this field of employment, full-time vocational training of at least 6 months in a vocational school
OR
· 1 year of continuous paid full-time experience as a caregiver, including at least 6 consecutive months with same employer
Qualifications:
· Be reliable and punctual
· Show initiative
· Have good judgment
· Have excellent organizational skills
Live-in Option Available:
Option for the Child Care Provider to live in the residence where care is required at no cost.
Language Requirement:
Knowledge of English (oral)
Employment conditions, salary and hours
Salary of $17.88 an hour for 40 hours per week, hours may vary from week to week
Monday – Friday from 10 am and 6 pm
Social Advantages:
· 10 days of vacation per year as per Quebec Law.
