Job Description
We are looking for a childcare provider to take care of our children, especially our daughter who has been diagnosed with ADHD.

Title
Private Home Child Care Provider
Duties:
- Supervise and care for children at our residence.
- Plan and oversee the child’s activities as instructed.
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
- Create a structured, supportive environment
- Set clear expectations, using positive reinforcement
- Prepare and serve meals for the children
- Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
- Create and ensure a safe environment at our residence.
- Organize activities such as games and outings for the children.
- Clean and maintain the house as needed.
- Other related tasks.
Required Skills
- Have completed a secondary school diploma attesting at least 11 years of full-time elementary and secondary education or
- have successfully completed, in this field of employment, full-time vocational training of at least 6 months in a vocational school
OR
- 1 year of continuous paid full-time experience as a caregiver, including at least 6 consecutive months with same employer
Qualifications:
- Be reliable and punctual
- Show initiative
- Have good judgement
- Have excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge in establishing routines and predictable environment for a child in need
Language Requirement:
Knowledge of English (oral)
Employment conditions, salary and hours
Salary of $19.00 an hour for 40 hours per week
Monday – Friday from 7am-11am and then 4pm-8pm
