Job Description
We are looking for a childcare provider to take care of our three children.

Title:
Private Home Child Care Provider
Duties:
· Supervise and care for the children at our residence.
· Plan and oversee the children’s activities as instructed.
· Prepare and serve meals for the children.
· Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
· Create and ensure a safe environment at our residence.
· Manage extracurricular activities and ensure homework is completed.
· Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
· Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
· Organize activities such as games and outings for the children.
· Clean and maintain the house as needed.
· Other related tasks.
Required Skills
· Have completed a secondary school diploma attesting at least 11 years of full-time elementary and secondary education or
· have successfully completed, in this field of employment, full-time vocational training of at least 6 months in a vocational school
OR
· 1 year of continuous paid full-time experience as a caregiver, including at least 6 consecutive months with same employer
Qualifications:
· Be reliable and punctual
· Show initiave
· Have good judgment
· Have excellent organizational skills
Live-in Option Available:
Option for the Child Care Provider to live in the residence where care is required at no cost.
Language Requirement:
Knowledge of English (oral)
Employment conditions, salary and hours
Salary of $34.62 CAD an hour for 30 hours per week
Monday to Friday from morning and evening shifts
7:30 am to 9:30 am and 3:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Hours may vary depending on the family needs
Weekend shifts can be required.
Social Advantages:
· 10 days of vacation per year as per Quebec Law.
