Job Description:
We are looking for a primary home support worker for our 2 children: 4 y/o, 2 y/o.

Title:
Home support worker
Duties:
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Prepare infants and children for rest periods
Supervise and care for children
Tend to emotional well-being of children
Cook
Care is required due to a medical condition of one of the children.
Required Education/Experience:
Have completed a secondary school diploma, at least 11 years of full-time elementary and secondary education.
Have successfully completed, in this field of employment, full-time vocational training of at least 6 months in a vocational school.
Have 1 year of continuous paid experience as a caregiver.
Skills/ Qualifications:
• Be reliable and punctual
• Take initiative
• Have good intuition
• Have excellent organizational skills
Language Requirement:
Knowledge of English (oral)
Employment conditions, salary and hours:
1-year temporary position with possibility of extension.
Salary of $19 /hour for 40 hours per week.
Hours from Monday to Friday
• Schedule will be broken between morning shift 7am-11am and 4pm-8pm to allow for most help with children.

• 10 days of vacation per year as per Quebec Law.
