Shift Manager

To further our commitment to investing in our company's objectives, we are currently looking to hire a Shift Manager for one of our locations. This aligns with our mission to strengthen our management team and achieve our organizational goals.

Purpose of the Job

The Shift Manager will oversee operations at the location, ensuring an engaging environment for both team members and guests. Their primary responsibilities include motivating the team to deliver exceptional service, driving optimal business outcomes. Additionally, the Shift Manager will focus on facility management and enhancing the customer experience to ensure memorable visits.

1. Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor business operations to ensure adherence to company standards and procedures.
• Mentor teams to foster a positive work environment and promote employee retention.
• Analyze sales and labor results after each shift to optimize performance.
• Implement operational procedures and ensure compliance among team members.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure sufficient stock of food preparation ingredients.
• Conduct regular team meetings to evaluate performance and discuss improvement strategies.
• Recruit and train supervisors and team members to build an enthusiastic and capable team.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards, training staff accordingly.
• Identify and promptly address operational issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate sales records and investigate any discrepancies.
• Schedule shifts and manage team members effectively to meet operational needs.
• Report maintenance issues and incidents to senior management.
• Ensure active engagement in current promotions to maximize sales.

2. Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required
• At least 2 years of management experience
• Strong leadership abilities with a focus on guest service
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment; exceptional interpersonal skills
• Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers; able to speak, read and write in English
• Skilled in resolving issues in accordance with company standards
• Flexible availability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays

3. Working Conditions

• Shift Manager will work a standard work week of 37.5 hours
• May be required to work some overtime hours to attend meetings or work during peak hours
• Will report directly to the Director Operations

4. Position Offers

• Competitive Pay- $ 21 CAD per hour
• Permanent, full-time position
• Work hours 37.5 hours a week
