As part of our commitment to reliable technology support, we are currently seeking a Help Desk Technician to join our technical services team and provide frontline support to internal and external users.

Position Title: Help Desk Technician
Number of Positions: 1
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 30–35 hours per week
Wage: $36.00 per hour
Start Date: As soon as possible
Language Requirement: English
Work Location: On-site at our Brampton location

Job Responsibilities

As a Help Desk Technician at Pearl Technologies Limited, you will:

  • Communicate electronically and in person with computer users experiencing difficulties to determine and document problems encountered

  • Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documentation to research and implement solutions

  • Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties

  • Collect, organize, and maintain a log of problems and solutions for reference by other technical support staff

  • Participate in the redesign and improvement of software and applications

  • Provide support for business systems, networks, and internet connectivity in response to user issues

  • Deliver high-quality customer service

  • Confer with clients to identify and document system or support requirements

Education Requirements

Completion of a college program in computer science, computer programming, or a related field is usually required.

Experience Requirements

Work experience is not required, but considered an asset.
Training will be provided where needed.

Additional Requirements

  • Proficiency with common support tools and systems

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to document technical issues clearly and concisely

  • A customer-focused attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
