Cornerstone Plumbing and Handyman Services Inc, located at 306 4th Ave, Rosetown, SK S0L 2V0, is looking for a reliable, full time Construction Labourer to work 35-40 hours a week. Work is performed at various construction sites. We are offering a wage of $25.00 per hour. Primary language at work is english.
General Responsibilities & Duties
- Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
- Build walls, floors, decks, roof systems
- Painting and wall repair
- Flooring installation
- Masonry repair and form works
- Use a variety of hand tools to nail, anchor, bolt as needed on the job site
- Assist tradespersons such as carpenters, bricklayers, cement finishers in construction activities
- Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance in other activities
- Assist in demolishing buildings using prying bars and other tools, and sort, clean and pile salvaged materials
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment
- Operate construction tools in a safe manner as directed
- Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as chopsaws and table saws
- Oil and grease hoists and similar equipment
- Direct traffic at or near construction sites
- Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
Requirements
- Completion of high school
- On site training provided for specific tasks with proper supervision
