Responsibilities

Tasks

Auto CAD Design

• Review templator’s drawing and job file, pictures, plumbing fixtures, and any other information to become the expert on the job
• Check and/or complete plumbing fixtures configuration for the entire job
• Order Inventory and measure sinks for the project
• Complete design responsibilities and attain all required approvals
• Replicate customer’s intent and remain in communication
• Any design conflicts brought to the attention of manager with possible solutions
• Complete checklists and obtain appropriate drawing approvals
• Submit pre-approval drawings when required

Design and Layout Job for Fabrication

• Determine fabrication process for construction of piece
• Place seam if needed and layout top for the best visual appeal and stone optimization
• Ensure clear directions for cutting and any special details are noted for fabrication team
• Any design conflicts brought to the attention of manager with possible solutions

Programing with Easystone

• Complete program responsibilities
• Review drawing files to ensure all noted CNC functions can be performed
• Create files to bridge between the design process and programming
• Create precise and error free programs
• Check Other’s work thoroughly
• Expand and improve programming process
• Knowledge of Easystone Database
• Maintain knowledge of CNC parameters and tooling currently in service
• Ensure programming parameters and components directly reflect the components being used
• Monitor finished products to maintain DSW quality in fit and finish

Maintain File Systems

• Maintain fabrication folder, archiving old jobs and keeping all files organized
• Create and approve individual hardware templates and maintain their file structures
• Keep procedure manuals up to date

Tooling and Machining

• Able to set up tooling data in Easystone and Intermac
• Able to finish up and adjust profile sets
• Maintain the tooling life
• Knowledge of all CNC machines and saw

Communication

• Communicate with team to ensure any fabrication changes are implemented back to the design process
• Communicate with customers, millwork shops, suppliers and builders
• Communicate with Fabrication Team to ensure any fabrication changes are implemented back to the design process

Innovation and Constant Improvement

• Constantly seek to improve speed and accuracy of tasks
• Using problem solving skills to innovate new procedures
• Perform other duties assigned

Templating with Proliner

• Courteous and informative customer interaction
• Complete accurate project measurement inclusive all aspects of scope
• Document all details about job site using the Proliner, photos, videos, and notes
• Attain project specific information
• Complete preliminary design
• Maintain vehicle and proliner machine
• Perform other duties as assigned
