We are looking for a Caregiver to take care of our elderly parent in Surrey, BC.
Job Duties:
•Provide personal care, companionship and administer bedside
• Supervise and take care of our parent with a medical condition
• Prepare and feed nutritious meals considering the health condition and doctor recommendation
• Assist parent with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
• Able to administer medications as prescribed by a physician when required
• Perform other general housekeeping activities when requested;
• Maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment at home around elder person
• Tend to emotional well-being of elderly and provide support
• Take them out for outdoor activity such as walk to nearby areas;
• May perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Oversee activities, such as meals and rest periods;
Requirements:
• Secondary school education
• Completion of college or other courses in home support or training program related to home support
OR
6 months of experience as a full-time caregiver or in a health care related occupation.
Language: English
Salary: $23.00 per hour for 40 hours per week
