Lee’s Family is looking for One (1) Child Care Provider
About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate, responsible, and experienced Child Care Provider to care for our infant. The ideal candidate will provide attentive care, support healthy development, and maintain a safe and nurturing environment in our home.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full care and supervision for an infant, including feeding, changing, bathing, and comforting.
- Maintain daily routines such as naps, feeding schedules, and playtime.
- Prepare and serve nutritious formula/food as appropriate for the infant’s age.
- Engage in age-appropriate developmental activities (tummy time, reading, sensory play).
- Ensure the infant’s safety and well-being at all times.
- Keep the infant’s areas clean and organized (bottles, toys, clothing, etc.).
- Monitor health, behavior, and developmental milestones; report concerns to parents.
- Light housekeeping duties related to infant care (laundry, sanitizing bottles, tidying play area).
Qualifications
- Previous experience caring for infants (professional or personal).
- CPR and Infant First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Knowledge of infant development and safe sleep practices.
- Nurturing, patient, and attentive personality.
- Ability to follow routines and parent preferences consistently.
Terms: Full-time
Start date: February 2026
Salary: $20 per hour/40 hours per week
Work location:
• Private home in Whitchurch-Stouffville, ON.
• Major intersection: Kennedy Rd and Vandorf Sideroad
• Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis
