Off The Hook Surf Turf Smokery Ltd. in Qualicum Beach, BC is looking for a Full-time position for a Catering Service Manager to assist in running our growing firm and could join immediately.

Positions Available: 1 (One)
Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible.
Compensation: $36.60 per hour
Work hours: 30 hours/week
Terms: Full-Time

Job duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and manage day-to-day operational activities.
Oversee and assess the efficiency of daily catering operations.
Conducts recruitment, training, task allocation, and performance evaluation to ensure service standards are met.
Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
Supervise team members and provide ongoing support and guidance.
Define service offerings and implement appropriate operating procedures.
Manage inventory levels and ensure proper storage and stock rotation.
Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Coordinate with suppliers and negotiate terms for purchasing food and supplies.
Negotiate contracts and service arrangements with clients for events and facility usage.
Respond to client inquiries and resolve complaints to maintain high customer satisfaction.
Negotiate catering and venue arrangements for client events, including banquets and receptions.
Skill Requirements:
Education : College/CEGEP.
Experience : 1 year to less than 2 years
