Rush Contractors Group is a growing BC-owned and operated ground improvement/excavation contractor. We are currently looking for an experienced Excavation Operator for several construction projects in the Lower Mainland area.
Who you are:
* you have a minimum of 3 years of experience operating an excavator in a safe, responsible and efficient manner
* you are reliable and punctual, and have reliable transportation to get to different work sites in the lower mainland
* you have a strong work ethic
* you are safety conscious, with safe work practices
* you will be willing and able to perform physically demanding work
* minimum education: none required
* must speak, read and write English at an upper basic to intermediate level at minimum
* valid driver's licence is mandatory
What you will be responsible for:
* safe operation of the equipment
* cleaning, lubricating, and maintaining the equipment including, but not limited to, greasing and shoveling tracks
* completing daily equipment checks and daily inspection logs
* ensuring equipment is in safe working order, reporting any deficiencies as required
