Work Location: The candidate will work at 2 of our Golf Resorts: Rocky Crest Golf Resort (20 Barnwood Drive, MacTier, ON P0C 1H0) and Sherwood Inn (1080 Sherwood Road, Port Carling, ON P0B 1J0).

Job Description:

  • Assists in hiring, training, and ongoing supervision of the Front Desk staff.
  • Provide guests with outstanding guest service, and efficient and effective registration and billing services in a professional, friendly manner.
  • Reviews of staff shift work and cash handling for errors to maintain accurate records.
  • Assumes Manager on Duty responsibilities when assigned.
  • Prepares monthly reports and budgets for the front office department.
  • Reviews daily front office work and activity reports generated by Night Audit Reviews.
  • Prepare front office logbook and Guest feedback forms on a daily basis.
  • Maintains an organized and comprehensive filing system with documentation of purchases, vouchering, schedules, forecasts, reports, and tracking logs.
  • Performs other duties as requested by management.

Requirements:

·       Education: Completion of high school is required.

·       Experience: A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience as a guest service agent (or similar front desk role) required. 

 

Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, occasionally overtime is required, Attention to detail, Work under pressure

 

Personal suitability: Flexibility, Team player, Initiative, Client focus, Dependability, Organized

 

Language: English is required

 

Salary: $25.00 hourly

 

Benefits: Uniform Provided at a Cost, Group Health Benefits Coverage, Vacation at 4%

 

Important Information: The position requires flexibility in the schedule. The employee will work a minimum of 30 hours per week, including day, evening, and weekend hours based on business needs. Rotational shifts available between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM. Most common shift lasts 8 hours.
