Position

The duties of the Landscape Services Technician are as follows:

• Execute landscape construction projects according to design plans and specifications. –

• Perform grading and excavation tasks to prepare the site for landscaping installations. - Install hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor structures.

• Paving stone installation: Base prep/elevations/grading/laying/cutting & reading architectural plans.

·         Movement and grading of bulk materials and aggregates

• Retaining wall installation: Construction of engineered & non-engineered block retaining walls.

• Assist in the installation of irrigation systems, including pipes, sprinklers, and controllers.

•  Plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and lawns, ensuring proper spacing and planting techniques.

• Operate and maintain construction equipment and tools, such as drills, saws, coring tools. excavators, skid steers, and power tools.

• Collaborate with the landscape design team to ensure accurate implementation of design concepts.

•  Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. - Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project goals are met.

• Identify and work with management team to resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction.

Requirements

The job requirements for Landscape Services Supervisor are as follows: 

·         Completion of Secondary School is required.

·         At least 1-2 years of experience in the landscape / grounds maintenance industry

·         Physical fitness: The job involves manual labour, and repetitive tasks so candidates must be physically fit and able to handle the demands of the job.

·         Customer service focused approach

·         Fluent in English.

·         Excellent Oral Communication.
