Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our team. This is an on-site position in a fast-paced restaurant, bar, and café environment.

Job Responsibilities

As a Cook, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes
• Determining portion sizes and food costs
• Planning menus and estimating food requirements
• Preparing meals for customers with allergies or dietary needs
• Preparing special meals for patients as directed
• Inspecting kitchen and food service areas
• Ordering supplies and equipment
• Training kitchen staff in food preparation and handling
• Supervising kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintaining inventory and kitchen records
• Cleaning kitchen and work areas
• Recruiting and hiring kitchen staff
• Managing overall kitchen operations

Requirements

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  OR
• Equivalent experience

Experience

• 7 months to less than 1 year
