Charger Global Logistics Canada Limited is committed to responsive service and operational excellence. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dispatch Logistician to join our Dartmouth, Nova Scotia location.

Job Description:

• Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization to ensure efficient transportation and dispatch operations.
• Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities with other work units or departments.
• Supervise, assign, and review the work of staff involved in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and dispatching goods and transportation crews.
• Prepare and submit operational and performance reports.
• Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and logistics systems and arrange for maintenance and repair work as required.
• Resolve work-related issues, recommend process improvements, and support continuous operational efficiency.
• Train employees on job duties, company policies, and safety procedures, and conduct timely performance reviews.
• Arrange training and ongoing development for staff as needed.
• Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety and security procedures, and applicable regulations, and participate in process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Language: English
Education: Secondary school
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment under pressure and tight deadlines
Strong judgment, initiative, and problem-solving abilities
Reliable, flexible, and client-focused with effective interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time (30-35 hours/week)

Compensation: CAD $36 per hour
