Position Title: Floor covering installer

Job Duties:

• Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
• Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding
• Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings
• Prepare and install hardwood floors
• Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
• Prepare floors for installations
• Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants

Various locations, Willing to relocate.

Working conditions:

• Physically demanding
• Handling heavy loads
• Bending, crouching, kneeling

Personal Suitability:

• Organized
• Team player

Work experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. 1 year to less than 2 years of experience required.

Terms of Employment: Full time, permanent, 40 hours/week

Wage: $20/hour
