Responsibilities
Tasks
- Co-ordinate special events
- Coordinate food preparation and presentation for events
- Develop and maintain catering packages and pricing structures
- Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Oversee setup and breakdown of catering venues
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
- Provide customer service
- Monitor staff performance
- Supervise staff
- Follow up with clients after events to ensure satisfaction
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
