Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Responsibilities
Tasks
- Assist Residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and eating.
- Respond promptly to Resident calls and requests for assistance.
- Support Residents with mobility, including ambulating, turning, positioning, and transferring Residents. This may include using assistive devices for transfers and safe transfer techniques.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to Residents.
- Carry out delegated tasks as directed by nursing staff, in accordance with policies and procedures, and scope of practice, including specimen collection and other assigned care activities.
- Relay reports, specimens and relevant Resident information to nursing staff in a timely manner.
- Maintain Resident environments, including changing bed linens, maintaining room cleanliness, and restocking supplies as required.
- Complete accurate documentation related to resident care and well-being and promptly report changes in condition or concerns to nursing staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
