IBS Construction Ltd. is looking for Full-time 2 Framing Carpenters who could join us immediately. The details are given below.
Work Location: Various Job sites in Surrey
Office Address: 7620 125 Street, Surrey, BC, V3W 7W3
Salary: $37 per hour
Positions: 2
Hours per week: 30 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Job duties and Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications.
Prepare layouts according to building codes.
Measure and mark cutting lines on frames, floorings using hand or power tools.
Fit and install trim items like doors, stairs, molding and hardware
Shape or cut materials made of wood and other materials to specified measurements, using hand tools or machines.
Maintain, repair and renovate wooden structures in residential establishments
Construct foundations, put in floor beams, lay subflooring and elevate walls and roof systems
Maintains a safe and clean work environment
Work conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, combination of sitting, standings and walking
Skill Requirements:
Secondary School
1-2 years of related experience
