Job Duties:
• Develop and prepare electrical engineering drawings and schematics.
• Operate computer-assisted design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD to produce wiring diagrams, connection details, and technical drawings.
• Prepare and update working drawings, single-line diagrams, wire schedules, and installation layouts.
• Create and assemble documentation packages, create work orders using SAP and complete drawing sets for projects.
• Verify drawings to ensure conformity with electrical codes, manufacturer specifications, and project design data.
• Collect information and data about project sites for detailed plan for installation such as distances/clearances etc
• Revise drawings and prepare as-built documentation.
• Prepare technical reports for internal use.
• Work with Electrical Planner and Electrical supervision for cost estimates and accuracy of conformation to standards.
• Visit work sites and prepare rough sketches of location, obtain survey drawings from survey dept for cut views and stope/drift layouts.
