Drywall Finisher (NOC-73102)

1AGM MULTI CONTRACTING LTD.  is a construction contracting business based in Delta, BC and we are looking for skilled Drywall Finishers to join our team as soon as possible.

Position: Drywall Finisher (NOC-73102)

Number of Positions: 2

Job Duties:

• Clean and prepare surfaces
• Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency
• Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster
• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife 
• Seal joints between plasterboard or other wallboard to prepare wall surfaces for painting or papering.
• Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required
• Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
• Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
• Work on high ceilings using scaffolding or other tools, such as stilts.

Skills Required:

Education: High School
Experience:
Completion of a three- to four-year apprenticeship program
or
2 -3 years of similar experience
Language: English

Term of Employment: Permanent Full-time

Wage: $28.10 per hour (35 - 40 hours per week)

Location of Work: All over lower mainland area, British Columbia, as per contracts
