Beard and Hammer is seeking a motivated Construction Trades Helper to join our team. This role involves supporting skilled tradespeople on construction sites and assisting with a variety of building and site preparation tasks. The position is physically demanding and requires someone who is reliable, hardworking, and able to work well in a team environment.
This position contributes to environmentally responsible construction practices and supports projects aligned with Canada's net-zero environmental goals.
Language: English
Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in construction or a similar field
Ability to work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks
Load, unload, and transport construction materials
Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
Assist with framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
Remove rubble and debris from construction sites
Support skilled tradespeople with general construction tasks
