Job Duties:
Handle and monitor livestock, ensuring animal health and welfare
Diagnose and treat livestock health issues as required
Supervise 1 to 2 farm workers
Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers
Organize tasks to accomplish the work
Maintain livestock performance and production records
Maintain work records and logs
Operate and assist in maintaining farm machinery and equipment
Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
Perform general farm duties related to feedlot operations
Requirements:
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in livestock or farm operations
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
Knowledge of livestock handling and health practices
