🚛 Long Haul Truck Drivers Wanted – 3 Positions Available

SAMSID TRANSPORT LTD., based in Surrey, BC, is currently hiring three (3) Long Haul Truck Drivers to join our growing team as soon as possible.

Position Details:

• Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver
• Wage: $37.50 per hour
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Work Location: Various locations across Canada

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan travel routes and make necessary arrangements
• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Inspect vehicle systems (tires, lights, brakes, refrigeration unit, etc.)
• Perform and document pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
• Record cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
• Perform emergency roadside repairs when required
• Ensure the safety and security of cargo
• Transport and handle dangerous goods
• Handle delivery payments when required

Job Requirements:

• Language: English
• Education: Completion of secondary school
• License: Valid Class 1 or Class A driver’s license with a clean driving record (driver’s abstract required upon request)
• Experience:
  • At least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years, or
  • 3 years of experience within the last 5 years
• Training: Dangerous goods training will be provided
